You have a point. I was going to suggest not attacking PETA but sticking to the facts about Rubashkin, but then I saw this on the first site you quote:
This is why it is important to distinguish between the legitimate critique of the throat pulling by Grandin, and the role of PETA. PETA wants two things: less slaughter, and more money.
Oh my goodness – this is turning into one of the most boring blogs on the Jewish-net.
Isn’t this supposed to be a blog where nobodies like me can say something to somebodies
who can affect the community? Why don’t you discuss something useful for a change – you can’t find any issues?
How about the shidduch scene, materialism, assimilation on college campuses, the fact that kids can’t read Hebrew
when in high-school… hello, anyone there?
Boring, Elitzur? We just exceeded our best hit stats yet, and logs don’t rotate until 6:30 tomorrow. What’s going on with PETA and the Presbyterian church are serious issues. Don’t worry. We’ll get to all the issues you mention, I’m sure.
