    This is a great quote. Nowadays, Jews don’t deny their ethnicity, family background, heritage or whatever they call it but how much influence does it have on their lives or their life choices.
    America is full of Jews who are not involved in Jewish life, who don’t go to a shul, don’t have a seder, don’t marry Jews, but are in no way ashamed of their Jewish background,whatever that means. A lot of leaders of politics, academia, etc. are Jewish,but what does it mean.
