Sharon Rushed to Hospital, Again…

News services are reporting that Israeli PM Ariel Sharon was rushed to the hospital, only hours before he was scheduled to undergo a procedure to correct a heart defect.

They say he is conscious and able to speak, so it may not be of any more concern than the last one. But although the first incident didn’t seem to hurt his new party at all, it’s certainly not good for his campaign that he’s having trouble at this time. It just puts more uncertainty on top of the turmoil created by his departure from the Likud — and Shimon Peres’ from Labor — to create the new Kadima party.
