    Hello Rabbi Reinman,
I would like to know more about the book’s background, why you wrote it, etc. About the idea that maybe more people would become frum with the existence of Reform and Conservative than otherwise, I agree with you. This concern is utter nonsense. We have a grave responsibility to preserve the purity of our mesora. Yes, we have to make great efforts to reach out to our fellow Jews but it must always be done with an appropriate yirah (fear of Heaven). H’ can inspire mass t’shuvah at any moment but we have to make sure there is something to return to.

I THINK WE WOULD ALL BENEFIT FORM HEARING ABOUT THE PROCESS THAT LED TO THE BOOK AND THE ENSUING CONTROVERSY. I KNOW YOU ARE OFF FOR A WHILE, BUT PLEASE KEEP IT IN MIND FOR YOUR RETURN.
